Code Geass R1 Episode 1 blu-ray.

September 27, 2008 Shockwave 6 comments

Well then, I haven’t posted a blog post in a while (Due to me being nasty and neglecting the blog.) Now that I have some free time, I’m gonna give you links and pictures of the Code Geass R1 blu-ray version. Is this gonna be a review of the episode? No, it isn’t. When have I ever had time to write a detailed review of an episode and give it biased scores out of 10? (Never if you don’t know.) Now some of you might be asking what’s the point of this blog post anyway? Well, to be perfectly honest, that is none of your business.

Now then, let me commence with screenshot spam and links to download the blu-ray episode (it’s in 720p by the way.)

Oh well, if you want to see the blu-ray for yourself, I have some rapidshare links.

Links:

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

(Just under 500MB all together)

Oh yeah, this also has english subs!

(Pro tip: If you don’t know what to do with those links, you download them all, extract one of them with winrar and the rest should extract automatically)

Solaris’ Spring Anime Schedule

So, after much pushing and nagging from Shockwave, I’ll be posting what series I plan to watch in the near future. So, without further ado….

Firstly, a must, is Code Geass R2, the much awaited (by me at least) second season of Code Geass. I had high expectations of this series and, certainly, the first episode, while not that impressive in itself, was certainly a sign of good things to come introducing several characters who will, no doubt, become prominent in the course of the series as well as setting up some new storylines to be explored. All in all, this is one series that I am looking forward to very much.

Now, I must note that I have not seen an episode yet of the following series so I’ll be judging them from what I’ve heard…. Onto the series

Next up is Kanokon and, from all accounts, this is a shockingly bad series. It seems as though the basic premise is Spice and Wolf (Fox Spirit) with a whole lot of naughty bits in. Basically, big busted girl takes a liking to generic high school boy and, well, that’s it. So yeah, this series looks awful but I’m watching it for the fanservice mainly I guess.

Then, it’s on to Bus Gamer which looks pretty good in a violent kind of way. The general idea seems to be 3 “bad ass guys” who fight in an underground blood sport for cash. While I don’t expect this series to be extremely deep or involving it does look to be able to fill that void in my life for a kind of gritty, down to earth, no messing fighting series, instead of all this “heroic superman” stuff or the generic macho sports anime.

Onto the next one, Blassreiter. I’ve been considering this ever since I saw an article about it on dannychoo.com and after reading the plot summary of the episode my interest is drawn even further. Motorcycles and Monsters…. Sounds good. So, this looks to be one of the shining gems in my anime season… and it’s made by Gonzo so that’s a plus.

Up now is ToLoveRU, yet another fanservice series. Another series I got interested in through dannychoo.com though not for the same reason, as you can guess, as the one above. Not having seen the episode of course makes me unable to judge but if it has even half the stuff in the manga then it’s this all the way for me.

Lastly, Itazura na Kiss. It, it seems, a generic romance comedy and, again, having not seen the first episode, I am unable to judge it but from the reviews it’s been given it looks like it’s certainly worth a chance.

So, there you have it, my schedule for the upcoming Spring Season. I will probably do a separate article for each episode of these series as and when I view them. Until then….
