Elfen Lied

After 2 days watching the 13 episodes of Elfen Lied it was some of the best anime I’ve seen recently. Well, actually, that was the only one I was watching but oh well. After the first episode I wanted more because, of course, who wouldn’t want to watch people explode in gibs and some naked chick escaping a facility? It might be sort of confusing from the start but it all fits together later. It starts off with Lucy escaping from a facility from which she was born in as an infant. They tagged her as a Diclonius, which is a mutant, with two horns sticking out from her head. She then escapes and ends up at a beach where two new characters, Kodah and Yuka, take her to Kodah’s home. She doesn’t appear deadly while around them and can only say “Nyu”. But soon enough trouble unfolds as they hunt for Lucy and her deadliness returns. ( I would tell you more but I don’t want to spoil it for you or I am just lazy ). Don’t ask me where I watched it from, I just got a DVD set from a friend. This anime might be sad for you as it was for me, *cries*, it took me two tissue boxes to get through Elfen Lied and it was very worth watching it. Now my room is like a river of paper, wet paper.
